The second Finnish jazz guitar competition was organized in connection with the Jazzkukko Festival in Laitila.
Elis Krzywacki from Helsinki has been chosen as the winner of the 2023 jazz guitar competition. Second place in the competition was won by Eemeli Kurkela from Jyväskylä.
The international jury of the guitar competition this year included Gilad Hekselman (USA), Peter Hertmans (BEL), Teemu Viinikainen and Kari Antila. This year about ten guitarists under the age of 30 competed in the high-level jazz guitar competition.
In 2021, Johannes Granroth of Peela won the first jazz guitar competition.
