KYN is an ambitious women’s choir, driven by passion for music and aiming at a professional approach to making it. By performing new Finnish jazz, for instance, KYN has been reforming consciously the idea of what a choir should be. In recent years they have become interpreters of a new genre, "ethnic jazz". KYN is unique in their originality of sound and effortless, lively expressiveness, reminiscent of vocal ensembles. KYN touches, tells stories and convinces with their virtuosity. No wonder they are a sought-after act in international arenas, too.
