The trio led by guitarist Joonas Widenius is a union of world music and jazz, a frontier-breaking Arctic tractor that starts with the fire of Andalusian flamenco and shudders forward with the power of rock. The trio, completed by the Spanish percussionist Karo Sampela and the Finnish bassist Tarmo Anttila, declares all boundaries and limitations useless.

The Trio has worked with artists like Iiro Rantala, Perico Sambeat, Ilkka Heinonen and many other. The members of trio have played with Carmen Linares, Moraíto, Värttinä, Raoul Björkenheim, UMO Jazz Orchestra, Pepa Päivinen, Kaari Martin, Alba Carmona, Slobo Horo, Nuevo Ballet Español, Waldo’s People, Flamenco jazz company amoung many others.
