A native of the south-eastern town, Lappeenranta, Ville Luukkonen (b. 1991) is a Helsinki metropolitan area-based drummer. He has studied pop and jazz music at the Metropolia University of Applied Sciences and the Jazz Department of the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki. This versatile musician has performed with big orchestras, big bands and smaller ensembles on a vast generic scale from classical to pop music and jazz, his main passion.

An enthusiast of live music and street jamming, Luukkonen has recently hosted following jazz clubs in the Helsinki metropolitan area: Jazz Tuli Taloon (2014-2015) Jazz Meni Painoon (2016) Jazz & Dinner (2015 -> ) Manala Afterwork Jazz (2018 ->).
