Skilful jazz bassists are always in demand, especially when they are as multi-skilled and versatile as Ville Huolman (b. 1975) and can master all styles and genres. The versatile bassist has performed with many different jazzgroups, such as Antti Rissanen's Mr. Fonebone, Severi Pyysalo's and Jukka Perko's The Poppoo and Mikko Pettinen's MP4 Quartet. The pace of work in smaller groups may be slower because of Huolman's full-time job at UMO since 2006.
