Mikko Iivanainen (b. 1975) has stood out from the other jazz guitarists in Finland by his deep harmonic understanding and the versatility of sounds. Iivanainen has influenced in many top jazz groups in Finland, such as Free Control, Nordic Trinity and Loco Motife.
