Mikko Helevä

Mikko Helevä (b. 1970) has been the organspecialist of the Finnish jazz scene since the late 1990s. The organ of Helevä, also the bass lines, has played an important role in Bronson, Big Brother, So So, Soi Ensemble and Tonight at Noon. Currently Helevä is finishing his doctoral studies and, besides active performing, he teaches organ and keeps workshops in i.a. Sibelius Academy and Pop & Jazz Conservatory.
