Juuso Rinta (b. 1992) is an emerging young jazz double bass player in the Finnish jazz scene. He has performed with many of the Finnish top jazz musicians and has, in addition to Finland, played around Europe for example in Norway, Poland, Germany, Italy, Estania and also in New York City and Los Angeles in the US. He has studied music at Sibelius-Academy's jazz department, the Manhattan School of Music in New York, Conservatory of Jyväskylä and Metropolia University of Applied Sciences. Currently he is studying for his master's degree at the Sibelius-Academy. His playing can be heard for example in bands such as Charles Carlman Trio, Second Wind Quintet and Linear John.
