Biography

Eclipse Music released Markus Venehsalo & Mavon Safia's debut album Introlation in September 2023. The album is mainly instrumental, guitar-driven, swinging rock, but there are also influences from heavy, funk, jazz and barbed wire. The guests include guitar virtuosos Mikko Kosonen and Frank Gambale.

Markus Venehsalo, the songwriter and producer of the Introlation album, is a 26-year-old professional musician and guitar teacher. The guitarist-composer tours the country with, among others, Katri Ylander and Tatu & Tutkiusmatkailijat. The Mavon Safia band was founded in 2020. Venehsalo declares himself a great friend of guitar music.

The single Projekt 13 was guested by guitar legend Frank Gambale himself. In an interview with Riffi magazine in March, Frank said that he constantly receives offers to play on records around the world, but that he is selective about them.
