Account suggests jazz pieces to listen hourly and on request. Bot is the first jazz music recommending Twitter-bot in the world.

Helsinki-based festival, record label and creative collective We Jazz introduces a Twitter account, which suggests one jazz song in an hour for its followers. Account @wejazztunes tweets a Spotify link from a list managed by We Jazz and one can ask for recommendation by mentioning "jazz kiinnostaa" or with hashtag #jazzkiinnostaa. The objective of this project is to increase opportunities for new audience to encounter jazz music and also to inspire jazz veterans with new discoveries. It is presumably world's first jazz recommending Twitter-bot.

"We became interested in bots and started to discuss their use for music followers", states Matti Nives, artistic director of We Jazz. "We have often come across the need to share people music recommendations and because of our interest in jazz we decided to harness modern social media automation for music enthusiasts. It soon became clear that following the account is highly addictive. It is very interesting to see what song will pop up next in news feed."

By clicking the given link one can hear an example of the song and by following the link he ends up in the song's album on Spotify. We Jazz continuously updates the recommendation list and the repertoire consists of jazz pieces on large scale from the first jazz record made in 1917 to date.
