Jazz Finland is seeking participants in their internationalization project's new edition 2019–2020. The participating companies of 2016–2018 may also apply for extension on this application round.
Jazz Finland is applying for funding from the Ministry of Education and Culture for the 2019–2020 project. The Ministry supported the previous project in 2016–2018. The companies who apply for participation are to commit to carry out the project plan, if Jazz Finland receives the funding. The Ministry's decisions will be completed and informed to the applicants by the end of April, 2019.
All applicants must be export-ready Finnish enterprises who have jazz music as their primary industry. The companies must already have some international experience and have good qualifications for international success. The applicants are to send their export plans for 2019–2020 to Jazz Finland by email by January 9, 2019.
The plan should include the following:
- The goals and expected short-term and long-term results of the project
- The target regions or countries of the project
- All export, exchange or internationalization operations for the period of Autumn 2019 – December 31, 2020
- The budget of the project, including the company’s own investment, which should be at least 20% of the expenses. Approved expenses for the project funding are: travel and accommodation, artist fees, outsourced services like PR, agency, distribution and the project’s producer’s fee.
The plans of the selected projects are to be reviewed by the project coordinator and the final project income sum will be determined by this revision.
The applications are to be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org before January 9, 2019. The applicants will be notified of the selection before the end of January.
