Ville Pynssi (b. 1978) has quickly established himself as one of the best drummers in Finland these days. Pynssi, originally from Kokkola, Finland, proved his skills at the latest when he was accepted to the jazz department of Sibelus Academy after spending years playing in several theatre orchestras and with many top musicians in Finland. In 2005-2006 Pynssi spent a year as an exchange student in Paris, studying in La Conservatoire National Superiour de la Musique under many top musicians of jazz, such as Riccardo Del Fra and Daniel Humair.
