Lenni-Kalle Taipale (b. 1978) rose quickly in the mid-1990s to the spotlight of the music life of Finland as a young jazzpianist star. Lenni-Kalle Taipale Trio became quickly an extremely successful band in the late-1990s and the debut album of the band, Nothing to Hide (Naxos Jazz 1998) sold gold as the first jazz album in Finland. Besides his own trio Lenni-Kalle Taipale has played jazz in i.a. the rhythm section of the Espoo Big Band, Hemma Beast, Sami Pitkämö orchestra and in several housebands of many tv-shows.
