Biography

Bassist Ville Herrala released his solo debut album Pu: on February 2020 on We Jazz Records. The record is available in vinyl LP, CD and digital format.

We Jazz Records released the solo debut album Pu: by Ville Herrala. The album includes 14 miniatures, which take the listeners into a avantgardist and minimalist world of colourful sounds and atmospheres made entirely by bass. Herrala puts story and atmosphere first, keeping his experimental music easy to listen and open. 

This is the first release of Ville Herrala as a solo artist, but he's known from many Finnish jazz groups from the top of the scene, such as PLOP, U-Street All Stars, Jukka Perko Jazztet and UMO Helsinki Jazz Orchestra.
